How to get to Bang Saen from Bangkok and the airports

Bang Saen sits about 90 minutes southeast of Bangkok on the Gulf coast in Chonburi. The fastest way is a private car or taxi (75–110 minutes depending on where you start); the cheapest is the Ekkamai bus to Chonburi, then a short local ride. Here is each option in detail.

From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

A taxi or private transfer takes 75–90 minutes and costs roughly ฿1,500–2,000 one way. This is the easiest arrival if you are flying in — you can be at the villa, bags down and swimming, before you would have cleared the queue for a hotel check-in in town.

From Don Mueang Airport (DMK)

Allow 90–110 minutes by taxi. Don Mueang is on the north side of Bangkok, so you cross the city before you reach the motorway south. If your flight lands at peak hour, budget closer to two hours.

From central Bangkok by car

By private taxi or your own car it is 90–120 minutes down Motorway 7, traffic depending. Leave before 8am or after 10am on a weekend and you will miss the worst of it. There is parking at every villa on the map.

By bus from Ekkamai

The cheapest route: Ekkamai Bus Terminal in Bangkok runs frequent direct services to Chonburi Bus Station. From there it is a short taxi or songthaew (the local shared pickup) to the villa. Total cost is a fraction of a private car, and the buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.

Getting around once you are here

Bang Saen is small. The seafront promenade is cyclable end to end, the seafood streets are walkable, and a songthaew or Grab covers anything further. You will not need a car once you have arrived.
